My Background and Approach
I'm a therapist and I help you get in touch with your emotions and understand why you feel the way you do. I specialize in brainspotting ("where you look affects how you feel") and working through trauma. With brainspotting the goal is to bypass the conscious, neocortical thinking to access the deeper, subcortical emotional and body-based parts of the brain.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in Health At Every Size and size inclusivity. I will never prescribe weight loss to better your mood or to build body image. Nobody knows yourself better than you do. After all, it’s your life you’re talking about. Sometimes it’s nice to hear it from someone else.
