About My Clients
Maybe you’re here because you want to break the cycles in your family. Maybe you’ve done some inner healing on yourself but need more guidance. Maybe this is your first time in therapy, and you’re ready to live more authentically. While life can make you feel trapped in the narratives of your past, I believe therapy can unlock the wisdom you already have within you.
My Background and Approach
My counseling philosophy focuses on fostering a safe, supportive environment of healing where you can explore your emotions, set boundaries, and discover empowerment. I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, racial identity, grief, neurodivergence, self-esteem, and chronic illness. From a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens, I integrate person-centered, narrative, and somatic approaches. My goal is to help you develop new perspectives, strengthen your coping skills, and reconnect with yourself and others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a biracial Korean-American and the child of an immigrant, I am committed to helping you navigate the complexities of integrating the multiple identities that make you who you are.
