I enjoy working with folks who express a deep curiosity to better understand themselves, the patterns that no longer service them, and are committed to learn how to heal their hearts, minds, & mind body connection. As a trans therapist, I am dedicated to working with clients who are exploring their gender and sexuality. Whether you are just starting to question or are worried about coming out or need to obtain appropriate medical care - I can provide a safe place to start exploring.
My Background and Approach
My approach is guided by curiosity, warmth, humor, authenticity, and collaboration. I combine several approaches in my practice including techniques from relational, behavioral (ACT, DBT, CBT,) and somatic experiencing. I believe that you are the expert on your experience and your journey and will honor that truth throughout the process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a trans and queer clinician, I work from a postmodern feminist and intersectional lens where we identify the systems that have negatively and positively impacted your life and identities. I am passionate about supporting members in the LGBTQIA+ community on their journey of radical self-acceptance, integration, and reclaiming pleasure and play.
