About My Clients

My clients are often navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, caregiving responsibilities, grief, life transitions, or illness while feeling emotionally exhausted from carrying so much for others. Many struggle to prioritize themselves or feel stuck in patterns of overwhelm and self-doubt. I work with adults seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental space to process emotions, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with a stronger sense of balance, confidence, and purpose.

My Background and Approach

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed—trying to hold everything together on the outside while struggling internally. What sets my work apart is not only my clinical training, which I completed at Capital Area Counseling, where I worked with a diverse client population navigating anxiety, trauma, complex grief, and stress, but the depth of life experience I bring into the therapy room. In addition to my professional background, I bring personal experience navigating significant loss and rebuilding after life has been unexpectedly disrupted. These experiences deepened my understanding of grief, resilience, and what it means to begin again. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as CBT and mindfulness. My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely understood, emotionally safe, and supportive as they move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing and growth are possible at any stage of life, even during seasons that feel overwhelming or uncertain. I value authenticity, compassion, and creating a space where people feel emotionally safe, respected, and free from judgment. My personal and professional experiences have deepened my belief that people are often carrying far more than others realize. Because of that, I approach therapy with empathy, curiosity, and genuine care for each person's story and lived experiences. I believe meaningful change happens through connection, self-awareness, and learning healthier ways to respond to life's challenges —not through perfection. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, supported, and empowered as they navigate difficult emotions, relationships, and transitions. If this resonates with you, I'd be honored to support you.
