About My Clients
Are you struggling with childhood experiences, dealing with a traumatic event, or anxiety? Do you feel unsure about your relationships or career? Do you want to explore parts of your identity or understand the reactions and feelings that you experience? My goal as a therapist is to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space for you to share openly and honestly. When in session together, we will collaborate to develop ways for you to lead a more meaningful, satisfying, and authentic life.
My Background and Approach
I use a holistic, empathetic, and insight-oriented approach. Understanding the many aspects of your life, including your mental health, physical health, relationships, job satisfaction, and childhood experiences, as well as how they interact, is important to me. Tools that I use in session include active listening, problem-solving, interpersonal skills building, and stress management. Modalities I draw from include motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I will often use multiple tools and technique to find the best match for each client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that as human beings we are all wired for connection and growth. Everyone experiences hardships in their lives. These issues can feel insurmountable when you face them alone. Sometimes moving forward can feel impossible, but there are ways to identify personal goals and obstacles in order to live a more satisfying life. You can heal and grow in a supportive environment. I can help.
