I work with children, teenagers, young adults, working professionals, and parents on a variety of issues. I provide talk therapy and I can prescribe medications if necessary. For children and teenagers, I work closely with family members and school systems. I collaborate with therapists/teachers/family to create a comprehensive treatment plan.
My Background and Approach
I take a warm and collaborative approach to celebrate your strengths and inspire your growth. While I am skilled in prescribing medications, I emphasize the role of talk therapy in treatment. When I prescribe medications, I always aim to use the least effective dose. I grew up in the SF Bay Area and attended UC Berkeley for college. I moved to sunny San Diego for medical school and General Psychiatry residency. I completed subspecialty fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford University.
