About My Clients
I work with people who are used to holding a lot on their own—whether that shows up as anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, burnout, or patterns that no longer feel sustainable. Therapy is a space to slow things down, understand what’s going on beneath the surface, and build tools that actually work in your day-to-day life.
My Background and Approach
My background is in community-based and crisis mental health, where I’ve worked with individuals navigating trauma, instability, and major life transitions. My experience includes working with foster care and justice-involved populations, children on the autism spectrum, migrant families, and individuals facing housing and financial stress. These roles have shaped my understanding of how life circumstances, environment, and systemic stressors impact mental health. My approach is collaborative, direct, and grounded in what actually works. I use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients better understand patterns, regulate emotions, and build practical tools for daily life. Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all—we focus on creating meaningful, realistic changes that align with your goals and experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where people feel seen, respected, and able to show up fully as themselves. I value authenticity, cultural awareness, and growth that honors each person’s background and lived experience. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, exploring different cultures through food, and prioritizing routines that support balance and well-being.
