About My Clients
I enjoy coming alongside my clients to help them live the life they desire. I am passionate about serving the helpers of the world, whether you are a health care worker, first responder, or are self-proclaimed. As someone who previously worked as a front-line staff, I know the toll it takes to be in this role. I serve people who are seeking ways to manage their anxiety and depression, increase self-esteem, and overcome painful past-experiences, PTSD, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I have 10 years of experience as a social worker. I have training in evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma. I believe everyone is worthy of compassionate care and living a life that is meaningful and full of potential. I have served in management roles and am a licensure supervisor for social workers. These experiences help me assist others in leadership roles to manage the many stressors that coincide with these titles so they can achieve their goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
One of my core beliefs is that everyone is worthy of compassionate care and everyone deserves to live their life to the fullest. I became a social worker to help others recognize their personal strengths and capitalize on them. I have dedicated most of my career to caring for the underserved, including those with severe mental illness, adults with legal problems, and people who care for others in our communities. I have become particularly passionate about working with front-line staff and first responders.
