About My Clients
I have primarily worked with children ages 10-18 and adults. Clients have come to me to discuss anxiety, panic attacks, depression and mood disorders, ADHD, autism, gender and sexuality, and trauma/PTSD. I have training and experience in working with immigrants and refugees, and I am a Spanish speaker.
My Background and Approach
I am a trained social worker and completed my MSW in 2020. I approach therapy using an eclectic approach (meaning I will blend many approaches to best fit what you need), though I will most often use mindfulness-based and "third-wave" therapies like ACT and DBT.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every individual has the power and insight to heal, and as a therapist, I am helping to ask the questions that will get you to where you want to be. I recognize the significant impact of policies and cultures on mental health, and I encourage clients to get engaged with their community as part of their growth and healing. I advocate for creating and improving policies for children and families regularly through volunteer efforts and contacting my representatives.
