I am excited to work with individuals and couples who could be experiencing loss, navigating new life circumstances, diagnoses, transitions; striving for personal growth, need support through changing relationships, who seeks voluntary professional services. They may face various obstacles such as interpersonal or intrapersonal conflict, lack of direction, feeling overwhelmed, or seeking greater fulfillment.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and offer a supportive environment, empathetic approach, and modify treatment plans based on individual needs and client specific treatment goals. I use evidence based approaches and therapeutic styles that will support and further client's healing journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My client's would describe me as welcoming, warm, endearing, silly, productive, relatable, and encouraging. I am an advocate and ally to all people, including LGBTQ+, BIPOC, veterans, and people with disabilities. I have worked in many social work settings for the past 5 years including medical/hospital, behavioral, and mental health with adults and adolescents. I hold Master's degrees in Social Work and Business Administration from Aurora University (2020).
