About My Clients
I help adults stuck in cycles of anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, and people-pleasing. My clients are thoughtful and hardworking but often struggle to trust themselves or speak up for their needs. Together, we create a warm, supportive space to better understand yourself, connect with your emotions, and move through life with more confidence, ease, and self-compassion.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed psychologist, Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford, and Co-Director of California Psychology Center. I specialize in evidence-based therapy for anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and burnout. At Stanford and CPC, I train and supervise other clinicians, helping them develop compassionate, research-backed therapy. My work focuses on helping people move through anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional avoidance. Clients often tell me I quickly get to the heart of what keeps them stuck. I bring a blend of science, warmth, and intuition to help you better understand yourself, ease self-criticism, and build greater self-trust and resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves a space of genuine compassion, authenticity, honesty, and respect. I value courage, emotional connection, and compassion for our shared human struggles. Throughout my years of experience, I have been honored to support people from a wide range of identities, backgrounds, and life experiences. I strive to practice cultural humility and am committed to ongoing learning about the impacts of power, privilege, and systemic forces. I’m also guided by the philosophy of amor fati—embracing life as it is, with openness, resilience, and acceptance. My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be an inclusive, affirming space where you can feel fully seen, explore your story, and build deeper trust in yourself.
