About My Clients

Are you stuck in life feeling like your true potential is out of reach? You aren't feeling fulfilled in your job, or your relationship, and there's a nagging feeling that you need to make a change. I get it, I've been there. I can help you heal from what holds you back, strengthen your relationships, and support your unique personal development. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA-identified and/or spiritual-identified people of diverse backgrounds. I also specialize in autism.

My Background and Approach

As a queer-identified and spiritually-identified woman in an interracial, same-sex marriage, I integrate many layers. I often work with clients that have complex experiences. Many communities honor one part of our identity while ignoring the other. In my practice, I create space for all layers of the LGBTQIA experience. This facilitates meaningful connections and awakens purpose. I refined my Relational approach through years of training and experience to help my clients tap into deeper healing, healthier connections, and personal growth. For 10 years, I have also helped children, teens, and adults decrease autism-related-anxiety. As an alternative to ABA, I offer something new that generates long-term change by decreasing trigger response. By fusing relational therapy with executive function support, I help clients to process salient life events and build resiliency to anxiety-provoking experiences. I also talk with parents and educators about the neuroscience of autism.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe all people living outside the mainstream narrative need to be able to tell their stories. It is the responsibility of those with privilege to listen, learn, and be curious. My true specialties did not begin until I poured over first-person accounts and learned from my clients' inner-most stories. I use person-first language, and I don't jump to labels, though I support self-advocates that prefer terminology where inherent parts of an individual’s identity are embraced. Similarly, I am open to any labeling or non-labeling my clients prefer as it pertains to their relationships, neurology, spirituality, or sexual or gender identity. I am an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community having led successful groups and events while also promoting queer, trans, GNC folx and POC on many platforms.

I have experience with the following
  • Atheism
  • Christianity
  • Judaism
  • Interfaith
  • Multifaith
