About My Clients
Are you feeling unseen or constantly misunderstood by your partner? Maybe sometimes you feel unappreciated by your boss or colleagues. Feeling this way makes us want to give up on people, career paths, and sometimes ourselves. Together, we can help you feel seen and appreciated, strengthen your relationships, and help you love yourself. My specialties include relationships, LGBTQ+, faith/spirituality, identity, feminism, communities of color, neurodiversity/autism, & social justice.
My Background and Approach
As a queer, spiritually-identified, woman in an interracial, same-sex marriage, I integrate many amazing layers. Many communities honor one part of our identity while ignoring the other. In my practice, I welcome every part of you. This can help me see you as you want to be seen. I refined my holistic approach through years of training, experience, and personal development to help others heal themselves and their relationship-traumas. I stir together postmodern therapies, social justice, neuroscience, executive function support, (and a little intuition) to help you feel better. We will curiously uncover and thoughtfully examine your life experiences to help you find peace at the root of your concerns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe all people living outside the "white supremacist heteropatriarchy narrative" need to be able to tell their stories. I think therapy should be a reprieve from the pressures of a cruel world and all of its senseless bullying. My true specialties did not begin until I poured over first-person accounts and learned from my clients' inner-most stories. I don't jump to labels, but I remain open to any labeling or non-labeling my clients prefer as it pertains to their relationships, neurology, spirituality, sexuality, or gender identity. I reject oppression and the harm it causes our bodies, minds, and hearts. I have led diverse groups and events promoting women, queer, trans/enby, and GNC folks, as well as POC and neurodiversity acceptance on many platforms.
