About My Clients
Everyone has had painful experiences. Whether you call this trauma or see it through a different lens, it helps to make sense of these experiences and how they're impacting your relationships now. And, relationships includes the one with yourself. Struggles to connect can cause you to feel a range of emotions, such as anxiety, sadness, fear, anger, and hopelessness. Clients I see want to improve their mood and explore what is contributing to this suffering.
My Background and Approach
Every aspect of you is welcome in therapy. I don't rush clients or push them to talk about things before they are ready. I balance this with encouraging them to make change so that they feel progress is happening. I pay attention to what you bring in each week and help you get out of stuck places. I'm warm, use humor, and can put people at ease, especially those who are trying therapy for the first time. I provide a nonjudgmental and motivating space to explore these issues and help you move forward.
