About My Clients
I work best with teens, young adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, or addiction. I also specialize in supporting international students balancing cultural, academic, and personal pressures. My ideal clients are curious, open to self-exploration, and seeking a safe space to feel seen, heard, and empowered. Whether you’re struggling with transitions, identity, or mental health challenges, I offer a warm, inclusive environ
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master of Science in Counseling and am an Addiction Counselor Candidate (ADDC) in Colorado. I’m fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, with basic Japanese skills. My practice draws from CBT, DBT, Positive Psychology, play therapy, and transpersonal psychology. I tailor my approach to each client, focusing on strengths, skill-building, and creating lasting change. Rather than centering clinical diagnoses, I meet clients as whole people, helping them build insight, resilience, and tools for empowered living.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a non-binary clinician, I strive to create inclusive, affirming spaces for those often marginalized in traditional settings. I’m deeply committed to social justice and mental health equity, especially for LGBTQ+ individuals and international students. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process rooted in humility and cultural awareness. My own lived experiences navigating multiple languages and identities inform my work. Outside of the therapy room, I value mindfulness, adventure sports, and community connection.
