About My Clients
I serve individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life - in person and virtually. I especially enjoy working with women's and LGBTQ+ people's mental health issues, specifically as it pertains to perinatal mental health, chronic illness, neurodivergence (Autism/ADHD/AuDHD), relationships, self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, and burnout. My interest in these areas is rooted in deep compassion for those who go overlooked by systems, and overlook themselves in order to survive in them.
My Background and Approach
My approach to counseling is relational and humanistic. I find that the most meaningful and transformative changes happen when there is a trusting, authentic therapeutic connection that allows clients to explore the deepest parts of themselves. I prioritize safety, collaboration, and autonomy in the therapy room, with the goal of empowering my clients to take healthy risks, persevere, and grow into the people they want to be. I primarily utilize psychodynamic, emotion-focused, and family systems theories to guide my work, meaning I view people as shaped by a variety of factors, including their past life experiences, fundamental emotional needs, and the systems they exist in. I received my Master of Science in Counseling at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in May 2026, with an emphasis in clinical mental health counseling. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2023 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, with two minors in Sociology and Women’s & Gender Studies.
