About My Clients
I support children, teens, and adults facing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and neurodivergence like Autism and ADHD. I specialize in helping youth with anger and impulsivity and work closely with families to strengthen relationships and build skills. I provide an affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients and tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, fostering healing, resilience, and lasting growth in a compassionate, supportive environment.
My Background and Approach
I am a doctoral-level clinician with specialized training in trauma-focused care, crisis intervention, and psychological assessment. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults in private practice and community settings, providing both therapy and comprehensive evaluations. I am skilled in ADHD/LD testing, assessment for PTSD and developmental concerns, and am currently training in the ADOS for autism evaluations. In therapy, I draw on evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. Clients benefit from my warm, collaborative style and my ability to create a safe space where healing and growth can occur. Whether through therapy or assessment, my goal is to empower clients with deeper self-understanding, practical tools, and pathways toward meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves to be met with compassion, dignity, and respect—especially in times of struggle. I am passionate about trauma-informed care and dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual assault and other forms of interpersonal violence. I value inclusivity and strive to create a safe space for people of all identities, including those from LGBTQ+ communities and diverse cultural backgrounds. I am also committed to suicide prevention and reducing the stigma around seeking help. Beyond the therapy room, I support efforts that promote equity, mental health awareness, and empowerment for underserved populations. My goal is to not only help clients heal from past pain, but also to help them feel seen, heard, and supported as they move toward building a life that reflects their strengths, resilience, and values.
