About My Clients
My practice focuses on adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, medical trauma, grief and loss, chronic pain and illness, cancer, caregiver stress, PTSD and life transitions. Many clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unheard as they face experiences others may not fully understand. Using a holistic, trauma-informed approach, I recognize the connection between the mind, body, and life experiences to support healing, resilience, and meaningful growth.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), I provide trauma-informed, person-centered therapy for adults navigating trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, anxiety, medical trauma, chronic pain, chronic illness, cancer, and life transitions. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness, while taking a holistic approach
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood. I am passionate about lifelong learning and continually stay current with evidence-based research and therapeutic approaches so I can provide effective, meaningful care. I recognize that many of today's struggles are shaped not only by personal experiences but also by the increasing isolation, stress, and loss of genuine human connection in our society. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to heal. I am also a strong advocate for animal welfare and appreciate the important role animals can play in emotional well-being.
