About My Clients
Are you someone who thinks deeply, feels deeply and is highly responsive to the emotions and needs of others? Is it overwhelm and exhaustion that's led you to begin the search for a therapist? If so, I am glad you are here! I love working with Highly Sensitive People, introverts, and those struggling with codependency/burnout. You deserve a place of refuge that's just for you (i.e. therapy). My primary goal is for you to feel seen, heard, understood and valued throughout our work together.
My Background and Approach
Supporting clients in establishing self-care and defining their boundaries is one of my favorite parts of being a therapist. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based. I believe growth occurs when clients feel safe and connected in the therapeutic relationship. Finding the right therapist is important, so if either of us feels we are not a good fit, I will be happy to provide you with a referral for a new therapist to better meet your needs. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Supporting and advocating for marginalized populations including LGBTQ+ individuals and people of color is very important to me. My approach is strengths-based so rather than focus on diagnosis, my aim is to get to know you as a human being. We work together to make sense of what you are experiencing.
