About My Clients
Clients who benefit from my style are often dynamic and creative individuals, seeking greater authenticity and freedom. Some come in to heal relationships with others, or to ease symptoms of anxiety, depression, addiction, OCD, or PTSD impacting their sense of wellbeing. Others come for a renewed sense of purpose and direction, or to heal trauma passed down through generations before - existential and spiritually focused. I work collaboratively, and as a safe guide in all cases.
My Background and Approach
I draw from a mix of approaches I’ve learned as a therapist and lifelong student of somatic techniques. I mainly work through attachment, developmental and somatic lenses, exploring your strengths and challenges from early relationships which shaped your sense of self. Together, we mend parts of you that feel misaligned and in pain from traumas and suppression of your whole self over the years. We build insight and the ability to meet, hold, and soothe your emotions, so you can see clearly what you need and what you want to create or change. I also bring existential and spiritual perspectives, focusing on what gives your life meaning and supports your purpose, while helping you address what doesn’t serve you. Having been born in the Bay Area and raised by an international family, I celebrate the unique gifts in each individual, each family and all cultures. I am an LGBT+ ally, support alternative relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We all constantly walk the line between living in pure authenticity and fitting in with our social, familial, and career roles. In therapy, we explore patterns that have moved too far from the center and gently release what no longer serves you, helping you step more fully into yourself and creating a balanced life. Together, we build self-understanding, self-compassion, and practical skills to grow toward wholeness, freedom, and personal power. Sometimes sitting with difficult emotions or facing past pain is necessary, but therapy is also a place for peace, hope, and joy. It’s a safe space where you can experience your life more fully and carry that trust and strength into your everyday world.
