How do you begin to feel better when you don't know where to start? Feeling like you are never doing enough, questioning your decisions and always putting others first can be exhausting. I work well with those dealing with ADHD, anxiety, infertility, parenting including with children with special needs or those who are dealing with life changes (marriage, kids, empty nester) Together we will find new tools for you to cope and change thought patterns to find more balance in your life.
My Background and Approach
My style is down to earth, conversational, collaborative with some humor thrown in. We will look at patterns of relating to others and ways of thinking that might be holding you back. We will discuss specific strategies and exercises to reduce the overwhelm and feel relief. I also have advanced training in perinatal mental health (working on certification) and have a Professional Educator's License (PEL) as a school social worker. Even though I no longer work in the school setting, I still enjoy working with tweens and teens helping them manage the stressors of adolescence.
