About My Clients

I love working with adults who are navigating anxiety, identity questions, acculturation and/or immigration stressors, past traumas, or major life transitions, and those who want therapy that honors their cultural and personal values. My clients often are bicultural, LGBTQ+ identifying, or from marginalized backgrounds, and they are looking for a therapy environment that is inclusive, safe, and nonjudgmental.

My Background and Approach

My areas of specialty include working with adults on depression, anxiety, acculturation issues, identity development, complex trauma, time and stress management, and major life transitions. I am also LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to providing an inclusive, supportive space for clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions. I genuinely enjoy working with individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds and work to incorporate your cultural identity and values into your therapy. My therapy approach is collaborative in nature, as I strive to understand who you are and your unique concerns. I value a strong working relationship because I believe that in order to experience growth and healing, you must feel that you can trust me and speak openly about your concerns. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where we can foster this relationship. I am trained in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical beha

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that healing happens through connection — to ourselves, to others, and to our communities. My approach is shaped by values of equity, compassion, curiosity, and authenticity. I’m committed to creating inclusive spaces where clients of all identities can feel seen and supported. I care deeply about expanding access to quality mental health care for immigrant and first-generation communities and try must best to engage in advocacy around culturally responsive care and social justice in psychology. When I’m not working with clients, I love spending time by the ocean, reading, meditating, traveling, and exploring new food experiences. I’m also a proud cat mom and believe in the healing power of small moments of joy.
