About My Clients
I believe in the possibility of feeling, experiencing, and thinking differently about your life and its challenges. It can be hard to find that possibility alone, especially when these challenges press on our most sensitive parts. I center queer, trans, and neurodiverse clients in search of these possibilities--navigating identity, intimacy, stress, and all the varicolored parts of life.
My Background and Approach
I studied social work at the University of Chicago and poetry writing at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. This translates to a practice that engages in both the systems that shape our lives and our human need for expression. I work integratively and intersectionally. Let’s not shy away from what our body feels or what culture tells us. I prioritize anti-oppressive practices and decolonial perspectives. My body work is rooted in fat liberation and disability justice.
