In addition to working at a mental health clinic, I run a non-profit focused on helping people gain self esteem through building various coping skills.
Teens love working with me because my approach is non-threatening and validating. Often, teens feel like they are being forced to tell all their thoughts a stranger. My methods dispel these feelings and put teens at ease.
Stress happens. It's not often fun. Yet it doesn't have to be debilitating. My clients have great success rates as we navigate through the feelings, causes, and triggers of stress and explore the "upside" of stress. We also explore and develop some life hacks and coping skills to help future stress be manageable.
