About My Clients
You’ve been pushing through - handling work, relationships, and responsibilities - but inside, you’re overwhelmed, disconnected, or just tired. Maybe you’re anxious, stuck in the same patterns, or grieving something that others can’t see. I help people make sense of what’s going on and find practical, meaningful ways to move forward.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, grief, relationship stress, identity shifts, and life transitions. My style is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you move forward—not just unpack the past. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy, tailored to your unique goals and pace. Whether you’re dealing with burnout, conflict, or just feeling lost, therapy with me is a space to be real, feel heard, and start making meaningful change. I also work with men, young adults, couples and aviation professionals navigating career, emotional, and identity stressors.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be accessible, collaborative, and rooted in respect. I support equity, inclusion, and dignity for all people, regardless of identity, background, or belief system. I’m especially passionate about working with people who feel pressure to “have it all together” but are quietly struggling. As a returned Peace Corps volunteer, I value service, cross-cultural understanding, and humility. I’m also an advocate for reducing mental health stigma - especially among men and professionals in high-stakes fields like aviation. Outside the office, I’m often with my wife and our old dog, getting outside, laughing at my own bad jokes, and trying to live with both purpose and perspective.
