About My Clients
In my practice I have enjoyed getting to support all kinds of clients and needs. I have helped people through a wide array of mental health issues and life stressors including depression, anxiety, OCD, life transitions, trauma, building self esteem and self compassion and more. No matter what a client walks through the door with, I am there to meet them where they are, build a genuine and caring relationship, and work together to empowe their inner strengths and potential to be their best self.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with teens and adults at the inpatient and intensive outpatient level of care who come from all backgrounds and walks of life. Clients have described me as warm, supportive, and genuine. I form meaningful and empowering relationships with clients by allowing them to take things at their own pace and seeing each client as distinctly individual. My goal is to help you appreciate your existing coping strategies and strengths, while guiding you to broaden your skills and navigate challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the therapy process should be tailored to each individual's needs and so I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and accepting environment for you to be heard and supported. Together we will explore past experiences, navigate current stressors, and enhance coping strategies for your growth and healing. My main goal is for your therapy journey to be what you want and I will meet you where you are each step of the way. I love getting to know the interests of my clients and what gives them meaning. For me that looks like reading a good book, going to a yoga class, checking out some live music, or just being around my friends and family. I'm also very into food whether I am finding or creating a new recipe to cook or trying to get through my endless list of Austin restaurants to try.
