What I am most effective at is being able to work with others to help them them with their trauma. I use an affirming and accepting approach, that seeks to work with the alarm bells our nervous system is giving us. By integrating the survival skills we have learned throughout our life, we are better able to manage present difficulties and create the future we want to see.
I have a lot of experience helping families increase their ability to communicate and feel a greater degree of connection. Often, once we understand and acknowledge the valid places our feelings are coming from, this enables the conversation to turn from conflict to communication. Everyone has a role to play and some valuable to bring to the table. My role is to help build on the connection that is already there
I have worked with many clients to help them have a healthy relationship with their ADHD symptoms. As with anything, being able to see its usefulness rather than its hinderance, helps us incorporate ADHD symptoms into our life rather than try to minimize their effects
I have a lot of experience helping others manage and make sense of their ADHD symptoms. As with anything, when we incorporate those experiences into our identity, rather than try to change who we are, we operate from a place of empowerment rather than defeat. In doing so, we can see how those symptoms can actually be helpful instead of just hinderances.

Gestalt Therapy is all about our whole sense of self. That whole self encounters a whole world and that brings on a whole host of difficulties. Being able to understand that dialogue that is always going on within and without our selves can be helpful to increase our satisfaction with ourselves
Some of the best research in the psychological field was able to help understand what we all now is crucial to our lives - connection. Understanding how we connect to others and ourselves helps us have the kind of healthy relationships we all want to have.
