I empower teens and adults to initiate change in their lives with tangible life skills, individualized treatment plans, and evidence-based approaches. I specialize in providing individual, family, and group therapy for children, teens, and young adults.
My Background and Approach
I have a significant background working in community mental health and people suffering with substance use disorder. I specialize in providing trauma informed intervention and psychotherapy for families and individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. My approach is always collaborative and solution focused. Most people with experience in therapy have been told what to do, without a collaborative approach. Therapy should be supportive and person centered, which is what I strive to provide.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal beliefs directly relate to the core values in social work ethics. I believe each client has the right to self determination and the ability to identify their goals in therapy. I am a strong ally for the LGBTQ community. Additionally, I am a strong advocate for harm reduction for people who use drugs and believe in multiple pathways for those that choose to seek recovery from chaotic substance use.
