About My Clients
My clients are seeking an intentionally inclusive and welcoming space to experience impactful therapy. They often struggle with that was then, this is now. Current feelings, thoughts and behaviors reflective of past adverse experiences. Unhelpful patterns are often repeating, resulting in the felt experience of chaos and confusion.
My Background and Approach
I honor the inspirational sources for each client motivating them to seek a helping relationship. I encourage clients to use familiar and new resources on their path towards health, hope and healing. Sessions often begin with meditation. I encourage clients to learn and practice new skills in session with an emphasis on self-compassion. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have been a member of a Unitarian Universalist congregation for over 15 years. I am attuned to the impact of trauma and injustice. I hold compassionate space for those who have been marginalized. I am a LBGTQIA+ ally. I strive to be anti-racist. I offer sliding scale for those without insurance or have other financial obstacles to promote equitable access to culturally competent quality health care.
