About My Clients

Maybe you’re feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or unsure of who you are in this season of life. Pregnancy-related depression or anxiety, postpartum depression or anxiety, relationship changes, early motherhood, or other transitions can leave you feeling stretched thin or unlike yourself. You may be holding everything together while wondering where you fit. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with yourself.

My Background and Approach

I believe therapy works best when you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in the process. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered, and I draw from relational, attachment-based, systemic, and strengths-based approaches to meet your individual needs and goals. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I pay attention not only to what you’re feeling, but also to the relationships, experiences, and patterns that have shaped how you see yourself and connect with others. Our work may include building coping skills, exploring patterns, strengthening communication, developing greater self-understanding, and finding ways to feel more grounded and resilient during periods of change. I have a particular clinical interest in supporting women experiencing depression, anxiety, overwhelm, and identity or relationship changes during pregnancy, postpartum, early motherhood, and other reproductive transitions.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people are resilient and capable of meaningful growth, even during seasons when they may not feel that way themselves. I don’t believe therapy is about “fixing” you. Instead, I see it as a space to better understand yourself, recognize the strengths you already carry, and explore what you may need as you move forward. I value authenticity, curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person’s autonomy. I believe our relationships, families, identities, and life experiences shape us, but they do not have to define what comes next. I also believe there is room for more than one feeling at a time. You can be grateful and overwhelmed, love your family and need space for yourself, or feel excited about a new chapter while grieving what came before. My hope is to create a welcoming space where you can show up honestly, without feeling like you need to have everything figured out.
