I typically work with clients (individual adults and couples) suffering from anxiety, depression, substance abuse/addiction, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, personality disorders, relationship struggles, and life changes.
My Background and Approach
I utilize an integrative approach in my therapeutic work, drawing from a variety of methods depending on the specific and unique needs of each client. Frequently, I incorporate elements of psychodynamic and object relations theories into my practice of therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that a healthy, authentic relational connection with my clients, based on respect, honesty, and dignity, is key to success in therapy. To each session, I bring compassion, warmth, integrity, and a long-held belief that each client has an innate sense of who they want to become and what they want to achieve.
