About My Clients

Seeking therapy as an queer and neurodivergent person can feel isolating and exhausting. You may carry shame or disconnection. Perhaps you feel out of place or like others have the rulebook for life that you somehow missed. Too often, therapy itself has added to this pain through judgment, dismissal, or erasure. I strive to create a different space: one where you can bring your whole self, be understood and affirmed, and know you are seen, valued, and truly not alone.

My Background and Approach

I take an individualized approach and do my best to tailor your therapy to how your brainbody functions. Some of the common therapies they draw from include Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Gestalt, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). At the core, I focus on the therapy relationship to engage in curiosity, support clients in affirming and empowering themselves, and foster change that feels transformative and healing. Part of that is how much I welcome and invite feedback from clients as I can't do my best work if I don't know what I miss or what isn't working for you. Collaboration and trust isn't built overnight though, and I work hard to make sure therapy feels collaborative but also like a good workout where the change we make in therapy pushes you to keep growing and changing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have a lot of experience doing victim advocacy volunteer work as well as serving as a board member in my local PFLAG chapter. I support landback movements and water protection movements on Turtle Island, I believe in indigenous sovereignty and hold hope for an end to white supremacy and western imperialism. As a white person, I engage in constant self-reflection to challenge white supremacy and anti-Black racism. I am also polyamory/non-monogamy friendly and kink-friendly.
