About My Clients
My clients often navigate infidelity, betrayal trauma, and the uncertainty that follows. Many clients arrive feeling heartbroken, conflicted, or unsure whether to repair or end the relationship. Discernment counseling offers a structured, compassionate space to slow down, gain clarity, and understand what has happened before making major decisions. The work is well suited for those who want to process the emotional impact of betrayal, explore relationship patterns.
My Background and Approach
I have extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, and professionals through life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity exploration. My training includes narrative therapy, psychodynamic approaches, culturally attuned care, and the Gottman Method for couples, enabling clients to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and gain clarity about patterns in their relationships. I have worked extensively with Latinx and multicultural communities, helping clients navigate generational expectations and cultural identity. I also specialize in supporting professionals, including therapists, with career stress, licensing exam preparation, and major life transitions. By combining clinical expertise with a warm, collaborative approach, I create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to build self-trust, set healthy boundaries, and make meaningful, sustainable changes in their personal and relational lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value creating therapy spaces that are inclusive, affirming, and culturally grounded. I am committed to supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, particularly Latinx and multicultural communities, and I actively work to honor each person’s identity, values, and lived experiences. I believe in the importance of social justice and advocate for equity, mental health access, and culturally informed care. I support causes that promote empowerment, education, and emotional well-being, including mentorship for future Latinx therapists and initiatives that address systemic barriers in mental health. Beyond clinical work, I engage with music and the arts as tools for expression and healing. My hope is that clients feel seen, respected, and encouraged to explore their full potential in a space that is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and aligned with their values.
