About My Clients
Hello, I’m a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety, OCD, trauma, eating disorders, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care for teens and adults across California. Maybe you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life you want. Perhaps you’re navigating self-doubt, major transitions, or painful experiences that still linger. Whatever you're carrying, we’ll work through it together at your pace, in a way that feels right for you.
My Background and Approach
I completed my doctorate at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, training in school counseling centers, CBT-based and trauma-focused community clinics, and specialized eating disorder programs. During my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Kaiser Permanente, I deepened my expertise in eating disorders, anxiety, and trauma. My mission is to help you ignite change in your life by fostering inspiration, hope, and joy through integrative, experiential, mindfulness-based, and evidence-based treatments. My approach is warm, engaged, and often joyful, creating a safe, compassionate space where healing can happen. Together, we will work to clarify your goals, shift unhelpful patterns, and build self-esteem. Using evidence-based treatments tailored to your needs, we’ll craft a unique path forward. Depending on your individual needs, learning style, interests, and the latest research, we may use DBT, ACT, CBT, or trauma treatments such as EMDR or Prolonged Exposure.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value collaboration and a growth mindset in therapy, approaching each new experience with creativity, positivity, honesty, and empowerment. In our work together, I will lead with authenticity and help you hone your values so that you can step outside of your symptoms and into values-based living. I work creatively, getting to know my patients first and curating treatments that best align with their difficulties and interests. I also strive to help my patients understand what psychological processes underly their symptoms so that they can uncover how to make lasting changes in their lives, going beyond simple symptom management. At its core, my practice is grounded in cultural humility and social justice, providing a safe and inclusive space for all. As a queer woman, I deeply empathize with the broad spectrum of sexual and gender identities. I create a non-judgmental, trusting environment where you can safely explore your experiences and challenges.
