I am trained in CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) and PE (Prolonged Exposure Therapy), which are the two front-line treatments for PTSD/trauma-related symptoms. I treat individuals with trauma ranging from childhood abuse, sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, traumatic accidents, combat trauma, and medical trauma. Typically trauma treatment takes 12-16 sessions, but can take longer depending on how many traumas have occurred or how long the trauma lasted.

DBT is the most effective treatment for individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, and I have found its tenets to be useful with a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationships. I began my training in DBT in 2012 in my graduate training at Columbia University. I have extensive experience running DBT skills groups and conducting individual DBT, and I welcome individuals who are new to the treatment or who have had prior experience with it.

I use CBT and CBT-oriented treatments to treat depression, anxiety, mood difficulties, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, among other difficulties. CBT helps us to navigate the relationship among thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to create lasting change in your life. I am flexible with this treatment, integrating its features in ways that work for your own individual concerns and history.
