About My Clients
My primary expertise is working with couples who feel as though their relationship has slipped sideways to a point where they are struggling to connect in positive, loving ways. They are stuck & their attempts at talking through these issues has led to disappointment & disengagement. Using the Gottman Couple Therapy Method, I help these couples find new ways to listen to each other & teach them the value of validating their partner, accepting responsibility, & engaging in emotional repair.
My Background and Approach
I have over 20 years experience as a therapist. I completed my Master's in Counseling Psychology in 2001, and have worked in a variety of community mental health and private practice settings.
