I help someone build up their self-esteem and set boundaries to free themself from codependency.

I use a variety of CBT and DBT techniques to help someone get out of and manage depression.

I use primarily CBT and mindfulness therapy to help someone learn to let their troubling thoughts go and live in the present moment.

The primary goal for therapy is to help you resolve what is causing you distress and to give you tools to better handle it.

Lots of times the way we feel is related to our thoughts. It's helpful to look at your thoughts to determine if they're rational or irrational, helpful or harmful. By sorting out your thoughts and changing your way of thinking you can decrease anxiety and stress.

I have extensive training in DBT from people who were trained directly from the founder of DBT, Marsha Linehan. I help teach my clients the skills of DBT so that they can decrease distress, better regulate their emotions, and have improved interpersonal relationships.
