About My Clients
If you or your child are struggling with anxiety, navigating big transitions (like separation, divorce, or changing schools) and longing for more ease and connection in your relationships, you’re in the right place. I work with kids (ages 9-17), teens, parents, and individual adults to help them feel more supported, understood, and empowered to grow.
My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused and Attachment-Based Therapy, with a focus on helping clients understand, regulate, and express their emotions. I often integrate expressive arts, mindfulness, and experiential practices—especially helpful for kids and teens who may not yet have the words to describe what they’re feeling. These approaches create safe, engaging ways to move beyond behaviors and access what’s underneath. Whether I’m supporting a child’s ability to express their emotions in adaptive ways, helping a teen navigate challenges with their peers, or strengthening connection within families, my goal is always the same: to help you feel more resourced, connected, and happy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Clients often tell me that they can be themselves and feel really seen and supported. That trust is at the heart of everything I do. My background as a mother, former corporate team leader, and lifelong learner all inform the compassionate, strategic, and growth-focused lens I bring to counseling. If you’re looking for someone who can support both you and your child, help your family find its way back to connection, or simply be a steady presence as you navigate your own inner world, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Outside of session, you can usually find me in nature, baking with my family, riding horses, or turning clay on a wheel, all things that remind me to slow down and stay open and curious.
