Although her specialty is in the area of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, she feels confident in treating patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, co-occurring disorders, gender issues, adjustment disorders, and grief/loss.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a blend of treatment approaches based on the individual clients need with primary approaches being Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused, and Reality Therapy. I believe that developing a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients is essential in facilitating change and often integrates humor and creativity into my sessions.
