My Background and Approach
I have worked in the mental health field for the last 6 years, providing substance abuse and mental health services to adults in criminal justice settings and community mental health treatment centers. Working with vulnerable populations has shaped my therapeutic approach into creating a safe space with a compassionate, nonjudgemental, and insightful approach infused with humor as appropriate. These client experiences have also helped me develop a strong desire to work with those impacted by traumatic and significantly negative experiences but who have had no emotional space to fully process though these events. I am committed in providing you with that safe emotional space along with therapeutic tools and insight to process through your experiences.
