I began learning mindfulness through a skill-building therapy course, which helped me on my own healing journey. I believe mindfulness can deeply benefit others. In my sessions, I guide clients to focus on one skill at a time, practicing both in and out of session. I provide support, reassurance, and accountability, helping clients with stress, anxiety, and dysregulation. Techniques like breathing, body scans, and meditation promote relaxation, mind-body connection, and clarity.

Inspired by EMDR's effectiveness in trauma therapy, I use it as an evidence-based approach to treat PTSD, phobias, depression, and grief. EMDR accelerates healing through bilateral stimulation (BLS), helping clients gain insights, process emotions, and reduce distress. After processing traumatic memories, clients often experience relief and reduced distress. I provide psychoeducation, emphasize resourcing, and support clients through the process, ensuring comfort and understanding.

My own journey with disconnection from my body led me to somatic therapy. I use grounding, breathwork, movement, and mindfulness to help clients increase body awareness, regulate their nervous system, and gently reconnect with themselves. This approach is especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, dissociation, and numbness. I guide clients with compassion to understand and meet their body’s needs for deeper healing.
