About My Clients
I'm passionate about working with adults who struggle with depression and anxiety. You're not alone and you can get through this. I also help couples deepen their relationship and assist with communication issues and understanding one another. Sometimes we get lost in the fights and disagreements. I hope to help you two find your way back to each other.
My Background and Approach
We'll be a good fit if you're looking for a supportive and empathetic place that offers a different way to look at things. I know that this can be a difficult process and I'm here to work alongside you and guide you through it. In therapy, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help understand your thoughts and stressors and why they're there. We then work together to create more positive and effective thoughts and coping skills. I also use Attachment based therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy with my individual and couple clients. We all have a want to belong and feel close to our loved ones and this approach helps achieve that. I hope that I can help you better understand what you're going through and to discover effective ways to cope. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. If we don't happen to be a good fit, I am happy to refer you to someone that hopefully will be. **Currently only having sessions Mondays-Thursdays from 10am-2pm**
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Sometimes it's hard to talk to our family and friends about what we're going through. They may not understand, empathize, validate or help sit with your emotions but rather judge, give advice or tell you what to do. I personally believe that we all can benefit from therapy. Life can be stressful and having a safe, nonjudgmental, unbiased place to explore all that life throws at us can be extremely healing.
