About My Clients
Are you someone who gives so much to others but struggles to care for yourself? Maybe you’re a parent, healthcare provider, therapist, or a child of immigrants who has grown up “translating” for your family while figuring out who you are. I help families and couples stuck in emotional gridlock find new ways to understand each other. I also support kids through young adults navigating anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, or identity questions, and I offer parenting consults.
My Background and Approach
I’m a board-certified clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience helping kids, teens, adults, and families navigate life’s toughest challenges. I have eight years of experience in an academic medical hospital specializing in eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and OCD. In private practice, I bring this depth of experience to a broader range of clients, from children to adults, including those navigating major life transitions, identity concerns, or high-stress helping professions. My approach blends evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT) with a warm, relational style. Clients often describe me as an “emotional translator”—someone who helps make sense of what feels overwhelming and creates space for clearer communication, connection, and healing. Together, we’ll build skills, strengthen resilience, and work toward meaningful change in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.
