About My Clients
You might know exactly why you're looking for therapy—or just know something isn't working. I work with older kids, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, eating concerns, identity, relationships, and life transitions. You don't need to have yourself figured out before you show up. We'll get curious about your patterns, strengths, what your behavior is communicating, and what might work better for your particular brain.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed social worker with experience across outpatient, school-based, day treatment, inpatient, and clinical research settings. My work draws from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR, with particular interests in anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, and eating concerns. I bring the research into the room without making therapy feel like a textbook—translating what we know about brains and behavior into strategies we can explore, practice, and adapt together. There’s no gold star for doing therapy the “right” way. If something isn’t working, that’s information—not failure.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe behavior is communication, curiosity is more useful than judgment, and people make more sense when we understand the context around them. I value authenticity, autonomy, inclusion, and the freedom to show up as yourself. My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQ+ affirming, and I strive to create a space where differences aren't treated as problems to solve. I also believe therapy can be meaningful without being relentlessly serious—humor, creativity, games, and the occasional side quest are welcome here.
