About My Clients
I work with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, identity, and relationship concerns. You may feel caught in familiar patterns or want more connection and purpose. My practice welcomes LGBTQIA+ clients, consensually nonmonogamous relationships, and kink and BDSM communities. We can begin with what matters to you, even if you do not yet know what you want to change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, and certified Animal Assisted Therapy Interventionist. I earned my MA in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Santa Barbara. My approach is humanistic and person-centered: we build a collaborative relationship with attention to your pace, choices, and goals. Depending on your needs, we may use cognitive behavioral tools, explore attachment and relationship patterns, or notice how stress shows up in the body. With couples, I draw on the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy to support communication, intimacy, and repair. Animal-assisted therapy with Sophie is available when helpful. Most sessions are 60 minutes at $300/hour. I offer an income-dependent sliding scale by inquiry and superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–9 p.m.; weekends by appointment.
