I have been fortunate to receive high-quality training as a graduate of the UIC/Jane Addams College of Social Work. During my training, I worked at Howard Brown Health where I focused on work with the LGBTQ+ community as well as trauma and recovery. Following work in community mental health working with diverse populations in Skokie, Illinois, I spent several years at Catalyst Clinical Group in Chicago where I focused on my work with men/transmasculine individuals and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
I primarily engage in approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and ACT. These are contemporary, evidence-based approaches which research suggests are highly helpful in managing symptoms of burnout, anxiety, depression, and other mental health symptoms. Additionally, I am experienced in walking beside my clients as they make greater discoveries about themselves, their identities, and their direction in life.
