I specialize in helping clients overcome perfectionism, people-pleasing, boundary setting, unhelpful relationship dynamics, substance abuse, and low self-esteem. My professional experience includes working with young adults and families in Substance Use Disorder treatment and supporting individuals living with severe mental illness at Austin State Hospital.
My Background and Approach
My approach supports clients in moving away from harsh inner criticism and embracing new perspectives in order to break out of self-defeating patterns. My wish is for all of my clients to move toward a more whole, unique version of themselves—a resilient self that is alive and better equipped to respond to life's challenges. As an integrative psychotherapist, I support clients in their journey of self-discovery and personal growth through a holistic approach that blends Developmental, Existential, and Strengths-based theories.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
A Native Austinite, I am a lover of cooking, taking my dogs to the dog park, pilates, and eating cookies with my husband. On weekends you can find me curled up with a good book, sipping espresso, taking short (but luxurious) naps, and trying new restaurants around town!
