About My Clients
I have a deep desire to help others find happiness and fulfillment in their lives and to overcome personal obstacles. My passion is to walk alongside those who entrust me with their healing journey. The guidance one receives through counseling is about becoming able to heal one’s self. This journey is often difficult and sometimes even painful, but the results are life changing. It is important to me to collaborate with my clients to create a safe environment in which to explore and heal.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy through an integrative, trauma-informed lens that honors your whole identity. I hold a Master’s in Social Work and am a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with 10+ years of specialized clinical experience treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD across diverse settings. My background includes advanced training in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and specialized trauma-processing frameworks. In my practice, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I blend the practical, thought-reframing tools of CBT with nervous system regulation and mindfulness to treat the mind and body as one. Whether we are untangling chronic "what-ifs," breaking through a heavy depressive fog, or gently processing past trauma, our sessions move at your pace. Together, we will build actionable coping skills for your real life, helping you shift out of survival mode and step into lasting peace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that true healing cannot happen without absolute safety, authenticity, and respect for your unique lived experience. Therapy should never feel like a cold, clinical interrogation. Instead, I view our work as a collaborative partnership where your whole identity—including your culture, background, and values—is not just acknowledged, but deeply honored. I am firmly committed to providing an inclusive, anti-oppressive, and LGBTQ+-affirming space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment or fear. Outside of the therapy room, I recharge by connecting with the things that ground me. You can usually find me spending time outdoors in nature, curling up with a giant cup of tea and a good book, or exploring creative outlets. I believe that protecting your mental peace and practicing gentle self-care are essential parts of the human experience, and I strive to practice exactly what I preach to maintain my own balance.
