My Background and Approach
How I'll be with you: Collaborative - I'll check with you often to make sure your needs are met. Accepting and hopeful - I'll be in your corner, and we'll celebrate your progress. Active - You'll get a focused and diligent therapist. I won't just sit back, and nod knowingly from time to time. Straightforward - I'm down to earth, and can be direct when needed. Effective - Your therapy will include practical tools based on research about the brain, neuroplasticity, the nervous system, attachment, etc. Experiential - You'll experience change during your sessions. Unlike regular talk therapy - which can be like an expensive conversation. Transformative - Meaningful change is possible, even if you're feeling stuck!
