I see you. Are you exhausted from feeling "too much," like your emotional dials are permanently set to high? Perhaps you're struggling with ADHD or your relationships are stuck in exhausting conflict. You are not broken—you are intensely perceptive and deeply attuned. I specialize in guiding the emotionally intense and relationships seeking deep connection and true acceptance. If you are ready to find ease, reduce anxiety, and feel truly alive, you've found your space.
My Background and Approach
I am Indya Marković, an LMFTA. My approach helps you achieve self-understanding and emotional regulation to reduce conflict and anxiety. Core Focus: I specialize in the Emotionally Intense/ADHD, Sex-Positive Therapy, and Relationship Therapy. Models & Philosophy: My work is grounded in the Gottman Method, Emotion Focused Therapy, and ACT. These models provide tools to manage high emotions, heal relationship wounds, and increase psychological flexibility. I actively weave in Feminist Theory and Anti-Oppressive Lenses to honor the impact of societal pressures. I am guided by the belief that profound change is possible through collaborative work. Experience: While focused on adults now, I have extensive experience in developmental work with children and served pre- and postnatal individuals during my internship. This foundation allows me to adeptly address new parent challenges and parenting issues with insight and empathy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is built on the unwavering belief that you are not broken—you are complex. My core values are authenticity, connection, and curiosity. I am passionately committed to anti-oppressive, affirming care. This means your unique identity, lived experience, and cultural background are not just accepted; they are honored. I am proud to provide a safe space for LGBTQIA+, kinky, polyamorous, and erotically marginalized individuals and couples. I believe that levity and warmth are essential tools in tackling tough issues, and I stand against the culture of shame that teaches us to hide our true selves. I believe true healing comes from understanding yourself and others better, which is why therapy is a collaborative space. I don't fix you; we partner together to harness your immense, unique perceptive abilities and move toward genuine ease and aliveness.
