About My Clients
The clients I journey with feel safe, honored, and respected when talking with me. In the midst of the heaviness that brings a potential client to therapy, I offer a steadying presence and consistency in listening to you as you try and better understand what is going on within your world. I will respect your story and experiences, while also gently challenging you at times to consider deeper reflections. Clients can also expect to gain more understanding of their own mind/body/somatic responses.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I genuinely enjoy sitting with people and listening to their life experiences. I believe we all have a story, and I am honored when people choose to share their stories with me. I often tell people that “I may not have many answers to life's big questions; however, I have a pair of ears that will listen.” And that is my promise to you – to listen – without judgment, and with an earnest desire to journey with you through your continued self-discovery and healing process. I know firsthand what it looks like to go to therapy, as I too have had many years of therapy (as a client). I experienced much growth in my own self-discovery, and found tremendous healing. It is from this place of knowing firsthand that it is possible to achieve such healing, that I offer a similar posture of patience and reflection with any client that may choose to work with me.
